PAT BENATAR - Rock's Best Selling Woman (1981)
Profile of Pat Benatar from 1981.
In the 80s she won four consecutive Grammy Awards for best female rock artist and had 19 Top 40 hits including "Heartbreaker", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "Fire and Ice", "Promises in the Dark", Shadows of the Night", "Love Is a Battlefield" and "We Belong".
She performs to this day with her original guitarist Neil Giraldo, original drummer Myron Grombacher and fourth bassist Mick Mahan.
In June 2010, Pat's memoir, "BETWEEN A HEART AND A ROCK PLACE" was released.

The fashion of dresses and skirts for women throughout the decades between 1940 and 1980, especially for older women. We have similar fashions and the yellow color. The Arabs are decorated with colorful dots. What a beautiful time in the world.
One could argue this is the best rock anthem ever made! The best vocals, great guitar, just a very tight band. It has always been my favorite rock song from that time!
